POLYMERS Super Absorbent Polymers (SAP) are a unique group of materials that can absorb up to 1000 times their weight in liquids and do not easily release the absorbed fluids under pressure. SAP are crossed-linked polymers in solid, granular or powder form that rapidly absorb and retain large volumes of aqueous solutions.

There are two general types of SAP, acrylate and acrylamide. The cross-linked acrylate SAP is a non-toxic polymer which can be produced in sodium or potassium acrylate bases. The cross-linked acrylamide SAP is a synthetic potassium-based, neurotoxin, long-chain polymer designed to attract either positively or negatively charged particles.

The Super Absorbent Polymers that we manufacture responsibly from raw materials has endless applications. Due to these applications, every soil or liquid body has a chemical footprint that needs to be matched to a specific polymer in order to function effectively and efficiently. Our polymer chemistry engineers adjust and differentiate various types of polymers by molecular weight and charge density to suit the specific application.
